Healthy Waffles When Trying to Loose Weight

I started a diet three weeks ago, and while I feel like I want to cry every time I walk in the grocery store at the box or Ritz crackers or cookies with frosting, I have lost 15 pounds in the last three weeks. I have never been on a diet in my life, but honestly married life gets you really comfortable to pig out together. I never thought if I actually ate right and stuck to it it would actually work. Here is a pancake or waffle recipe I use!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup sweet potato puree
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup egg whites
1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
1/4 tsp of PH salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
3 packets of stevia

Directions:

Blend all ingredients in a blender and pour into a preheated waffle iron.

Make sure you use Wolden Farms syrup! Or it’s pointless to have a healthy waffle.

When I first tried this I thought…no way this would actually taste like a real waffle. But it Does! It’s also a much healthier option.

The second question I had was, well how do you pure a sweet potato. Pure was just a fancy word for mash. So I just mashed it!
